# monday dashboards

Designed data-rich monday dashboard widgets for complex, high-frequency datasets, optimizing for clarity, responsiveness, and usability at enterprise scale.

Role: Senior Product Designer

Date: March 2021

## Problem

As monday.com grew into an enterprise Work OS, dashboard widgets drifted. Different teams shipped charts, number tiles, and battery gauges with inconsistent UI, weak large-screen performance, and poor mobile behavior.

## Role

As Senior Product Designer on the dashboards domain, I redesigned the core widget ecosystem for clarity and scale: shared visual language, responsive layout rules, and a container-agnostic model for board columns, multi-widget dashboards, and full-screen displays.

## Decisions

We separated data from visualization so widgets could scale without rewriting each chart type. Typography, charting primitives, and aspect-ratio boundaries were standardized so the same widget stayed legible from a dense board cell to a wallboard.

## Outcome

The framework gave monday a consistent reporting surface across products and screen sizes, instead of a pile of one-off widgets.
